GAME INSTALLATION AND REGISTRATION
  1. Insert the Risk Your Life CD into your CD-ROM drive. Wait for the installation screen to appear. If the installation screen does not appear (such as when auto-run is disabled), double-click on your CD-ROM drive in windows explorer then double-click on 'setup.exe' to launch the installation program.
  2. Please ensure that you have at least 1.5 GB of free hard-disk. Besides that ensure that your computer meets the minimum requirements stated above. (Recommend extra 1 GB hard disk space for future updates)
  3. Click on 'Install' to begin the installation procedure. Follow the on-screen instructions to continue installing the game onto your hard drive.
  4. You will be asked to designate a path where the program is to be installed. If you choose not to designate a path, then the default 'C:\program files\CiB\RYL' will be used. Click on 'Next' to begin the actual installation.
  5. If you do not have DirectX 8.1a or later installed, the setup sequence will install DirectX 8.1a. After the installation procedure has completed, you can start the game by using the shortcut provided or go to Start - Program Files - R.Y.L - R.Y.L).
  6. The settings window will automatically pop-up when the logs in for the first time. Adjust the settings according your preference:
    - Video Card: Choose the video that best suits the requirements.
    - Resolution: Default setting is 800*600*16 Bit or above
    - Graphic Quality: Total of 4 settings ranked from Low to Best. The system will automatically select the best setting for your PC.
    *In regards to the default settings column, our game master recommendeds that if you are a beginner ”Do not simply adjust the default settings column”. Just click “OK” after completing the install settings or choose the lowest settings that suit your computer. (This procedure will take few minutes to complete. Please do not close the program manually until it completes.)
  7. You need to register online to get the PlayerID and password before activating the game. Please click on 'New Players' if you do not have an account, you will be redirected to our website in order to register a new account from www.ryl.com.my.
  8. After successfully registering as a player then click on 'Menu' button Login. Now you will enter the world of Risk Your Life.
  9. Select the server that you wish to join and proceed.
